Air Fare Rules - Jet Airways (Domestic Travel)
Ticketing / Fares and Time Limit

All basic fares for domestic and international routes are quoted before taxes, Airline Fuel Charges, and fees. In addition to the basic fare, we are required by the Government to charge and collect group Service Fee (WO) as applicable in case of both INR and USD fares for domestic and international sectors. This is applicable for each flight coupon. Besides, an insurance and fuel Airline Fuel Charge (YQ) is also levied in case of international sectors, applicable per flight coupon. These two levies (WO and YQ) are collected along with the basic fare at the time of issuance of the ticket.

Please note that fares are subject to change without notice. If you have purchased a ticket and subsequently the fares have increased then you will not be required to pay the difference unless you decide to change your travel dates which requires reissuance of the ticket. In such cases the same ticket will be repriced at the applicable fare at the time of making changes.

Please do note the following:
  • Please check your ticket after it is issued, for its correctness.
  • Please also read the terms and conditions of carriage printed on the ticket jacket Unless otherwise specified, the period of validity of domestic and international tickets issued at normal one way, round or circle trip fares shall be one year from date of commencement of travel, or if the first flight coupon is open dated and or / unused, from the date of issue thereof. You can change your travel itinerary after you have purchased your ticket. In case you do, please get your ticket appropriately stickered or revalidated at any of our offices, airport ticket counters. Please do note the following with regard to the cancellation, and revalidation of tickets, purchased under Normal fares.
Cancellation / Refund / Reissuance of ticket
Cancellation charges of airlines are subject to change and would be applicable as per airlines policies at the time of cancellation.

Guests are requested to contact the carrier for more information on the policy.

If you cancel a booking, IRCTC levies a cancellation processing fee of Rs 250 per passenger per segment. Remember that this is in addition to the airline's own cancellation charges. If you make an amendment to your booking, we charge an amendment processing fee of Rs 250 per passenger per sector. IRCTC's fees are standard across all airlines.
All tickets issued to the customer shall additionally be governed under the terms and conditions as laid out by Jetairways on www.jetairways.com

  • If you are holding e–tickets, you can cancel online on our website if the cancellation request is made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of your flight. If the cancellation request is submitted less than 24 hours, you need to contact the airlines to get your reservation cancelled.
  • The above mentioned cancellation process and refund processing time may vary. In case of lost or damaged paper tickets, the refund process cannot be initiated with the airline.

Air Fare Rules - Spicejet (Domestic Travel)
  • All Guests, including children and infants, must present valid identification at check-in. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate travel documents at all times.
  • All Foreign Nationals/Non-Indian Nationals/NRI need to carry their Passport with valid documents for their travel to Port Blair (Andaman and Nicobar Island).All NRI must have PIO or Passport with valid documents.
  • Check-in starts "2 hours" before scheduled departure, and closes 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Guests are requested to report at least 2 hours prior to departure time, at Spicejet Check-in counters.
  • Cancellation / Changes within "2 hours" of departure or failure to check-in for a Spicejet flight at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time will result in the fare being forfeited.
  • Itinerary printouts with the name of the Guest will be checked at the time of entering the terminal and at the check-in counter. Guests who do not have the same are requested to collect the printouts from the Spicejet office located outside the departure terminal. A charge of INR 100/- will be levied for each print of an Itinerary / Ticket from any of the Spicejet Ticketing Counters / Offices across India (charges not applicable for fresh bookings).This fee is applicable only on requests for a print of an existing itinerary / ticket, already paid for. Please note the Itinerary Printout Fee towards re-printing of each Itinerary Ticket is reflected under the "Itinerary Printout Fee - INR 100" column on the printout.
  • Schedule is subject to change and regulatory authority approvals.
  • Guests may carry a maximum of one piece of cabin baggage, as defined by BCAS guidelines, with an additional restriction of maximum weight of one piece of 7 kg, not to exceed 55cm + 35cm + 25cm (Total 115 cm). Due to airport security regulations, no cabin baggage is allowed on any flights originating from Jammu and Srinagar airports.
  • Spicejet allows its Guests to check-in up to 15 kg of luggage, not to exceed 158 cm in overall dimensions (L+W+H), per paying passenger. Baggage in excess of 15 kg is subject to a fee (Rs.200 per Kg) to be paid at the airport at check-in. Spicejet will accept excess baggage if space permits. Spicejet may refuse to carry any luggage that does not comply with its policies.
Stoppage

Hand Baggage Only fare
  • For bookings made under Hand Baggage Only fare, each passenger shall be allowed to carry only one (01) piece of luggage of maximum seven (07) kg. of weight (which would include Laptop and duty free shopping bags) with maximum overall dimensions of: 115 cms. (L+W+H) on Boeing aircraft and 108 cms. (L+W+H) on Bombardier aircraft.
  • Passengers who circumvent the hand baggage restrictions at check-in shall be charged 300 INR (three hundred only) per kg., for each additional kg., above the seven (07) kg.’s free hand baggage allowance, if the airline staff detects the passenger carrying excess hand baggage before and/ or at the time of boarding the aircraft.
Amendments
  • Fares and schedules are subject to change without notice.
  • Rescheduling of tickets is only possible at the sole discretion of Spice Jet. No change is possible within 24 hours of flight departure. Within 24 hours before departure‚ it is only possible to cancel the reservation. The rescheduling fee as applicable by Spice Jet– per passenger per journey is charged.

Baggage Allowance

Baggage exceeding in size, the sum of the 3 dimensions (length + breadth + height) in excess of 45 inches or 115 centimeters, cannot be treated as hand baggage and will have to be checked in.

Amendments
  • Fares and schedules are subject to change without notice.
  • Rescheduling of tickets is only possible 24 hours prior to flight departure. No change is possible within 24 hours of flight departure. Within 24 hours before departure‚ it is only possible to cancel the reservation. The rescheduling fee is Rs.750/– per passenger per journey. The difference in fare is also charged.

Air Fare Rules - Indigo (Domestic Travel)
Taxes & Surcharges
  • IndiGo fares do not include applicable government taxes and surcharges Applicable taxes and surcharges are added to the basic fare Currently taxes and surcharges include a Fuel Surcharge of Rs 1,100 and a Congestion Surcharge of Rs 150 per Sector.
  • Additionally, IndiGo is required to apply the Government tax of Rs. 225 per Sector Various additional surcharges, e.g., for items or travel agency processing fees, may be assessed per Sector or per itinerary in addition to IndiGo's published fare.
  • Taxes and surcharges may be added, modified, or removed from time to time Participating travel agents can collect a transaction fee equal to 5% of the basic fare for making an IndiGo Booking. These charges are paid directly to the participating travel agent to cover their expenses.
  • Once a booking is made, fares, surcharges and taxes paid are non-refundable.

Hand Baggage Only fare

Making changes after purchase

IndiGo bookings are not transferable. If someone other than the Customer entitled to be carried there under attempts to travel, or to obtain a refund in connection therewith, IndiGo shall not be liable to the Customer so entitled if in good faith it provides carriage or makes a refund to said person Changes to a Customer's name, the origin of travel, and/or the destination of travel are not permitted Changes to the date or time can be made to a Customer's Booking by contacting IndiGo and completing the changes no later than 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Customers can make changes by phoning IndiGo's call centre, at IndiGo airport counters, on the IndiGo website, or through the IndiGo Shop, Reliance World retail outlet. Changes to the reservation will result in the above fee plus any difference in the fare between the original fare paid and the fare for the revised booking. At the time, your Booking is changed you must pay the difference (if any) if the fare you originally purchased is lower than the fare available on the date of the change. If the new fare is lower than the originally booked fare - the balance of the original booking amount and the new amount (including rebooking fee) will be retained in a credit shell for a period of 6 months where the passenger may use it as payment towards future travel. This fee is subject to change without notice Cancellations to bookings may be made up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time for a fee of Rs.1000 + 150(CT Service fee) per person per sector per event. The balance of the original booking amount will be refunded. This fee is subject to change without notice.

All fares are subject to change until purchased In the event we provide a Customer a refund (for example, due to a cancelled flight), the form of refund will match the form of original payment. If the booking was paid for in cash, we will refund in cash, or if the booking was paid for by credit card, we will issue a refund to the credit card. The refund of a booking made by a participating travel agent, IndiGo Shop, or Reliance World retail outlet can be only done by the party that made the original booking. Alternatively, a Customer may request a credit slip to be used for a future IndiGo flight. Note: Only Customers having valid IndiGo bookings are allowed to collect refunds. It is mandatory to show an original photo identity card and itinerary to collect any refund.

  • It is Traveler's responsibility to be aware of all the Permissions/Documents/Information related to valid passport, visa, foreign currency, insurance or vaccination (if needed) required traveling from one country to another country.
  • Passport information is mandatory for booking International ticket.
  • Please make sure that booking is done with name strictly as per passport as name change is not allowed by the airlines.
  • Please note infants and children must be accompanied by adults (at least 18 years) and must have a valid passport.
  • Infants must be under 24 months of age at the time of travel. Child is under 12 years of age at the time of travel.
  • You cannot book more than one infant with one adult; however an adult can travel with one child and one infant.
  • Cancellation and reissuance fees vary as per airlines. Please verify the same before sending tickets for refund.
  • Baggage allowance is variable as per airlines. USA and Canada has piece concept. Please check respective airlines for the same.
  • Passengers without valid visa to the arrival destination will not be permitted to board unless visa on arrival is permitted or visa is not required for such passengers as per the laws of the arrival destination.
